Carmel Mountain day hikes
The Carmel Mountains are 39 kilometers long, 8 kilometers wide and are crisscrossed with great day hikes. Many of them are loops, and many are easily accessible with public transportation. Here are my two favorite hikes. Let me show them to you.
Hike 1: To Sefunim caves, up to the top of the ridge, and down along the Megadim cliff face. 2.5 hours
Hike 2: Carmel Caves UNESCO site through Carmel forest. 3.5 hours
